My husband has been on rebif for 2 years and recently went off it as it wasn't helping him, if anything I would have to say he's been feeling worse and his MS has progressed since being on this drug. He has a prescription for LDN from his doctor, how long should he wait before using LDN? I mean, should there be a waiting period of being off rebif before starting LDN? Thanks for your help. :)

the waiting period is minimal
if you have taken Rebif yesterday night, then u can have LDN from today night!
because u've been on Rebif...the major changes (changes that you will not realize will take 4 months!....the other changes like balance improvement, bladder control, energy levels... u will feel immediately
HCN :D

No wait needed. LDN can be taken with other disease-modifying drugs, regardless of what others say. With that said, I believe LDN should be a stand-alone treatment for MS. Check out the study from UCSF in the Annals of Neurologist dated February 2010. The bottom of page 11 talks about the use of the DMDs with LDN: http://www.takingcontrolofmultiplescler ... gy_110.pdf

I hope this helps!

Thanks for the replies. How long before one can see results after getting started on the LDN treatment?

I noticed changes by the next day. Today is the first day since April 14th that I have had to take a muscle relaxer. I stopped taking LDN because I take Rebif so was worried about my liver. Now I am having another MS attack. I wonder if it is because I stopped the LDN. Has anyone else stopped taking it then started back? I can tell you there is a definite difference. I can hardly walk right now and I was walking fast.

I tried LDN for six months and I still declined. I stopped taking it and saved myself $25 a month. I haven't gotten better liked I hoped I would after stopping. Good luck to those who try. It seems to work for so many.

Sorry--the above link is NOT Operable now...:(

I'm in Pittsburgh PA...doubt highly if I can get my GP to order LDN...so clueless but HE's the best overall...:p

any tips on how to begin LDN...without 100USD investment?
-that's what River Pharm in Canada charges...

Thank you
