Hi everyone,

especially during the cold season I have an unpleasantly elevated muscle tone in my right upper leg. I can help the muscle to relax when I apply local warmness to the muscle.

I'm looking for a device that could be heated (something like a very thin warming blanket with a Velcor fastner) and wrapped around the upper leg.
Does anyone have an idea where I could find/buy such a device?

Thanks!

Hi Frank,
Have you tried taking a bath with epsom salt? Some people have found that helpful for loosening up tight muscles.

I would rather prefer a local solution. It can be administered more conveniently and I also react adversely to heat so a warm bath is something I try to avoid.

All winter I have a heating pad on my lap.
I wonder how an icy/hot patch would work for this?
You can get samples from a sample site like minimus.
I recommend stretching. One good front upper thigh
Stretch....lie on your belly...bring you heel to your butt
Hold for 10-20 sec.
Now if I could get in the habit of doing this at least
twice a day, to start..
