The lady who owns the store has a Phd in "Health", or whatever it is... Anyrate, here is what I ended up buying, amongst the other freebies: a bottle of DHA from purified fish oil, and Myelin Sheath Support 820mg tablets. I did get some Natural Calm packets for free, but I ended up spending $50.00
Anyone ever hear of these things?

Hiya Bubba, I take fish oil, never heard of Myelin Sheath support...what's in it?
I'm kinda spooked by some of the owners of these small health supplement stores, they're a different breed, kinda very hippyish.
I'm all for supplementing to a degree and alternative treatments, but ...
My husband has had great results from the fish oil. he had terrible arthritis pain in his hands, it's almost all gone.
I take something called bone grow...that actually guarantees results after 3 months. I got 2 months free at Vit shoppe, so I'm trying as I'm osteopenic from the steroids and reduced mobility. My remote control thumb has been getting a workout though..the rest om me feels too ****y

I've got a list of about 13 supplements I'm considering along with the swank diet. I'm afraid to go into a supplement store, they'll probably just offer me a bunch of crap I don't need for sake of making a sale.

Yesterday I had my B12 levels checked again along with my Iron. We'll see what those show but luckily my Doc said she'll give me the B12 injections so I won't have to buy that supplement.

Friday I have an appointment with an Nutritionist, I think I'll feel more confident walking into a supplement store after I see him. If you guys have any general questions that you'd like me to ask, just let me know.

LA - I'm curious to know what the nutritionist said. I also need to get vitamins & supplements but aren't sure which or what dosages.

Also, I sent you a PM but it doesn't look like you saw it.

And for anybody- has anybody found an good place to buy vitamins online?

I've ordered from vitaminshoppe.com. They seemed ok. Place one order with them, and they'll email you coupons for life.
