I just received this from the chemist. Originally we had an offer where they give you a months supply for free to try, and then every 4 month thereafter for free, or something like that. The manufacturer has been tryng to get it onto the PBS (ie govt subsidy), but has obviously failed, and has reduced the price and removed their previous offer.
From Monday 19th May 2014, each prescription of FAMPYRA that you fill ...

Need Ampyra Advice

I am torn. My left leg is weaker than my right and always have been. I have been working out faithfully and it remains the same. Last year my neuro gave me a prescription for Ampyra and it was my choice as to whether I wanted to start ...

Too expensive

Well I was about to receive a 30 day supply of Ampyra. But when the pharmacy informed me of the cost, I cancelled it. I have a high deductible in my Rx insurance so the 30 day supply would cost me over $1400! :-x
And the second month would be almost as much.
I could afford to pay it but I simply refuse to do it. That ...

Fampyra and 4-AP

I tried Fampyra for two weeks with no clear reaktion in walking improvement. (MS since 23 years, EDSS 6,5)
I made a break for 3 days (no significant difference, perhaps right leg worse)
Two years ago I made a test with 4-AP, 4x5mg/day.

Now I start again with a 4 week test on Fampyra.
Does anyone have experiance with a combination of Fampyra and 4-AP?

Regards
Uwe

I think my good eye is at about 20/30 or 40 and the bad one is close to 20/200. Unfortunately my damaged/blind spot is in my central vision in the affected eye. ...
