Hi, I'm a newbie to the site. My wife is the one w/MS but she is a confirmed Luddite so I do the computer stuff. Wish we'd heard of/found this site long ago. Anyhow, to get to the point. She'd been on Betaseron for about 14 years. Unfortunately over the last 2 or 3 years the tissue beneath the injections sites suddenly and completely broke down & it was no longer a viable treatment.

I was switched from Betaseron to Avonex but have an entire box of leftover Betaseron... can I legally sell it or even give it away? Ideally my thought was to trade it with someone who was switched from Avonex who has Avonex leftovers.

I have been on Betaseron for a month now, and well I am just about to up the dosing to .75cc
I am having a lot of side effects, I dont eat right (im never hungry, so I just eat when I believe it is time). I have a hard time the day of my shot getting to sleep I seem to stay up forever, my betanurse said try taking the shot earlier in the ...

ZURICH, Sept 14 (Reuters) - Swiss pharmaceuticals group Novartis (NOVN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) said it completed an agreement with Bayer Schering (BAYG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) over manufacturing rights of Novartis's Betaseron multiple sclerosis treatment.

As part of the deal, announced in March 2007, Novartis will receive a one-time payment of about $200 million.

Novartis said it had transferred manufacturing responsibility for Betaseron to Bayer Schering and received a payment for the transfer of production equipment, ...

Hello everyone, I have been having a rather weird problem with my face, posting here just to see if anyone is experiencing the same problems.

I just started my betaseron treatment about a week ago. I've taken 4 shots so far and I am much happier with it compared to avenox. My side effects are almost unnoticable. I'm a little tired, thats it. Avenox made me ill for 2 days!
So here's my question: My beta nurse suggested that I ice the injection site before and after. I did so with the 1st two shots in my legs and 1 ...

Should make those of you on Betaseron happy, I happen to be on Rebif :cry: Either way I bet an oral medication will hurt even less :lol:
