Bit of a weird question as it would be sold altogether with the Bioness L300, but does anyone have a Gait Sensor they want to sell for the L300?
Thanks Raz

In April 2011, I purchased a WalkAide for $4,800 From Hanger Orthotics. Here are the specs: Innovative Neurotronics WalkAide Model #20-0100; WalkAide Bi-Flex Cuff Medium Product #20-0260; WalkAide Cuff Storage Bag; Neurostimulation Electrodes Model #20-0500, Self-Adhering, 1.25” Round (8). I was 42 when I suffered a stroke in June 2010. After inpatient and outpatient rehab, I decided to purchase the unit since I continued to suffer from foot drop. However, after having the unit recalibrated ...

Posted Today, 02:30 PM Hello My boyfriend suffered a massive stroke in 2008. He was able to get the bioness H200 but unfortunately, never got it fitted for his left hand. It's brand new with all the pads, etc. looking for $3500 or best offer. If you ...

Post subject: WalkAide in Ireland Posted: Fri Jun 15, 2012 7:22 am |

I have pretty significant foot drop on my right side which makes walking difficult and really tiring. I have tried Odstock and Bioness and found both to be helpful but Bioness was much more effective (and no wires). It's very expensive but the better of the two for me - I'd never heard of WalkAide but having googled and watched videos it looks really interesting.
Can this device be purchased or tried out in Ireland? ...

Post subject: WalkAide use at 3 years Posted: Wed Jun 13, 2012 12:55 pm |

It has been about three years since I started using the WalkAide. The first thing I mention to medical professionals is that I take more steps correctly than I do incorrectly. I re-read what I had previously written and basically the improvements are the same. I have no hip and knee pain with continued use of the WalkAide (there have been a few times where I couldn’t use the WalkAide on a daily basis and ...

Post subject: Folding Mobility Scooters Posted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 11:02 am |

Although I am lucky enough to still be able to walk with a walker or a cane, I find that my activities are becoming more limited. I need a scooter to walk longer distances. I want to get a folding scooter that I could put in my car. The Luggie is the one I hear about most but it's expensive. The Lexus Light is a little cheaper but how do they compare? Does anyone have ...

I have searchd and have not found anything on this topic, so I thought that I would give my thoughts on the subject.
First of all don't be afraid to use one. I would follow a few helpfull hints that I can share. If you are able try and keep yourself out of a motorized chair. The proverb " use it or loose it" aplies here. If you can still use your upper body use ...

Post subject: Beds?!?! Posted: Tue May 22, 2012 5:31 pm |

I was wondering what bed you prefer to sleep on? My family member sleeps on a regular queen but I had suggested that she try one of the movable beds so that she can sit up and also raise her legs if needed while she was in bed. I was also thinking that it would help her to be able to get in and out of bed easier. Thanks for your time.
