Seats for Segways!

At last!

I was searching online for the zillionth time recently to see if Segways were being made with seats yet. I was finally relieved to discover that, although the Segway company itself still doesn't offer that accessory, "SegSeats" were just coming out from another supplier. And I later found that Segway dealers carry them. (Well, I assume that if one does, they all do. I could be wrong.)

My life is so much better! ...

Black & Decker Jar Opener

I purchased a Black & Decker jar opener last year. Anyone with hands affected by MS, arthritis or other conditions may find this kitchen tool quite useful. I no longer have to ask my husband or sons to open jars for me. When I purchased mine, they were still quite expensive; however, I recently saw these jar openers on ebay at very reasonable prices.

Take Care!

No-Dairy, No-Gluten, No-Casein recipe book, $2.99

When I looked for "Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, Casein-Free" cookbooks, I found a couple for over $15, so I kept searching. Luckily, I got this on eBay, it's an e-Book, instantly downloadable, so, no shipping fees. It has over 300 recipes, and the author, Marilyn, answers emails very nicely and fast.

COMFORTABLE, INEXPENSIVE SHOWER SEAT

It's generously sized, sturdy, and good looking, and it folds flat when not needed.
Got it from "Bargain Outfitters" on eBay after searching a lot for the best price. It was "buy it now" for $19.97, with $5.99 shipping.
They don't have it in stock tonight, but the item with photo can still be seen: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %26fvi%3D1

Ice packs

Does anyone know where I can get a Gel pack that is small, say about 5" x 5"?? All the ones I find are much bigger and I don't need a big gel pack for my injection site. Any suggestions? I tried shared solutions but they no longer carry them.

Thanks,

Light Switch Handle

Wanted to let you know about a great product I found. It is called a light switch handle. It attaches to a regular toggle light switch with no tools.

It has a unique 'S' shaped design that allows you to use it without gripping with your fingers. You can use the side of your hand, elbow, or shoulder to operate it.

You can find more information at www.lightswitchhandle.com ...

urologicals ... "hoses" for all of us who need the

Hi,

Probably one of the spookiest or least talked about topics are the bladder or incontinence issues that affect so many of us MS'ers.

For catheters and supplies, I have found this site to have good variety (I use a small Mentor product).

http://www.sportaid.com

If anyone is new to ISC, shy about it, know they should be doing it or just need to chat -- I'm an expert. Been there, done that.

The HUGO Rolling Walker

I found this assistive device and will most likely be getting one for myself (as the heat kicks my butt and everything seems to lock up past a quarter mile in the heat):

http://www.hugoanywhere.com/products.asp

The product sells for $155 and seems to be a great deal. ROCKIN'! No shame in a little assistance! :-D
