BG-12 and LDN?

Thoughts? I know that BG-12 is thought to increase Th2 cells thereby balancing out with Th1 cells and I believe I have read that LDN has a similar effect in increasing Th2 cells (please, correct me if I'm wrong, it's a while since I read it).
To me (my unscientific intuitive speculation of course) it seems that these two drugs would have a complimentary, synergistic effect.
I ask because I am currently taking LDN with ...

New data support oral BG-12 as MS treatment - Biogen

Biogen Idec Inc. BIIB said new data from studies evaluating its experimental multiple-sclerosis pill BG-12 further supports its effectiveness and safety in people with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis.

Most treatments for the chronic, inflammatory and potentially disabling disease are delivered by needle, but BG-12, or dimethyl fumarate, is an oral drug that will likely be taken twice daily. The drug is currently under review with U.S. and European regulators and could be approved early next ...

Anyone tempted to get fumaderm straight from Germany?

Hello to all,

I have been thinking about ordering Fumaderm directly from Germany, since my doc already thinks that drug is better than the Copaxone I am taking while waiting. I was wondering if anyone has experience with Canadian or US customs.

Altough that drug is in fact very old, I also wonder if I really fell like taking it so early in its use for the treatment of MS, but that is a completely ...

Battle lines drawn in the MS oral drugs market

For years, patients with multiple sclerosis had to endure injection therapies to stave off the horrible disease. Oral drug BG-12 found promising in treatment of MS

A new oral medication to treat patients in the early stages of multiple sclerosis has shown considerable promise in two clinical trials, researchers announced.

The medication is on track to become just the third oral drug available to M.S. patients, and potentially the safest and most effective, experts said. The second oral drug, called Aubagio, was approved just last week.

M.S. was virtually untreatable only two decades ago, but today nine “disease modifying” drugs ...

Very Interesting Article on Oxidative Stress and MS......

The author of this paper is the same author (Dr. Jack Van Horssen) who found protandim, dietary supplement more effective
than fumurate derivative BG-12.

Conclusions: Our findings indicate that several Nrf2 activators are able to significantly increase antioxidant enzyme production in oligodendrocytes. Interestingly, protandim, a dietary supplement consisting of herbal ingredients, was the most potent inducer and therefore may be the most suited as a therapeutic strategy. Importantly, Nrf2-mediated antioxidant enzyme expression in oligodendrocytes resulted ...
