I think this is a good article for children who have parent's with MS to read. MS certainly sucks for everyone!

A parent's multiple sclerosis can be a heavy burden on children.

Wow, I feel like my nine year-old's experience of having a parent with MS is so different than any of the kids in this article. Even though he has seen me decline from walking to using a cane to using a walker, we always talk openly and honestly with him, and he is generally happy and has a great social life.
