Anybody heard anything about this buzz that copaxone and rebif both might increase certain cancer types?

Any more information on this?

Thanks.

This article only discusses increased risk of breast cancer with Copaxone. Interferons seem to reduce the chance. Where did you see something about Rebif?

Hi Bebe

This is a part of the article that is referring to the interferons:

"The research revealed that the other three treatments increased the chances of contracting other forms of cancer. The findings are substantial enough to indicate the need for further research."

So what it seems to be suggesting is that copaxone increases the breast cancer risk and interferons increase the risk of other forms of cancer.
