A GREAT study to look up, really worth it

Post by msmything »

I've had this study around for a while, then finally picked it up and REALLY read it.

I have a TENS unit, I got it in order to cut down on pain meds and stiffness, spasticity. It's and electrical stimulation unit that was developed years ago to help heal bad bone breaks. Then I started to work, just part time, but when I wasn't working I had to sleep, it was bad, I relapsed and had a relapse of Pemphigus as well, and that has been quiet for years.

To sum briefly, it's a Dr. who had SPMS used a scooter and cane and sat in a anti-gravity chair.

She self treated under direction of HER doc, with gluten free, supplements, diet and the TENS unit, and is now RIDING HER BIKE! 5 MILES EACH WAY TO WORK! and walking all day totally upright, in no pain, all day, She has regrown muscle, and they suppose myelin along with dendrites.

Her commitment was HUGE to her plan of diet and physical therapy, home exercise, and tens use on multiple muscle groups as the combination is thought to be synergistic.
It can be found at http://casesjournal.com/casesjournal/artical/view/7601

I'm not so good at follow thru, but I'm trying as hard as I can, I think the gluten thing is toughest!

This is the story of Dr. Terry Wahls. Her plan has been discussed frequently on this website over the last several years. See the specific Wahls thread on the Diet forum: http://www.thisisms.com/forum/diet-f9/topic17276.html. I know there have been related postings in General Discussion, too.
