I've been talking to a friend of mine from MN about the HICY treatment which I've been following for the past several months. He had an appointment with his neuro Shapiro yesterday who mentioned something to the point that they used to do to do the same or something similar a few years back, but stopped. I sent my friend the article from the National MS site and now he thinks maybe it was something similar, but a bit different, that JH modified the treatment. I'm getting ready for work and trying to do a quick search of Shapiro hasn't brought me much luck. I wanted to see if anyone has gone to see Shapiro in MN, heard of him, his research etc? I could have sworn my mom used to see a Shapiro a long time ago but he left. My mother is in Ohio, I'm now in KS and Shapiro is in MN. Just an FYI, my friend has MS, my mom has well, her sis, my sis and myself. I'm most interested in the HICY and what's going on now, the future, perhaps what Shapiro did as well as a few other treatments.

One thing I'm particularly curious about is those females that may have had the treatment and then given natural birth, anything that has come from that.

Yeah Baylor in Houston used to do something with the same drug but it was different too.

That many things have been tried with chemo drugs that the EXACT HiCy protocol needs to be followed.
