You have already made up your mind not to do the HiCy treatment, so why are you here Kyle? Just to bitch and moan? Maybe get the last word in? Tell us Kyle, why are you here??? tell us all. We are listening.

I have MS as well so I have the right to question your motives Kyle.

WHY ARE YOU HERE ON THIS HiCy FORUM??

Well, we are awaiting your answer...

The last time I checked, no one, not once, has said this is a CURE. Maybe they have, and if they have, use the quote box thingy and call me a dumb ass. At any rate Kyle, there are some of us that don't go from a chair to running marathons. Whether you think it or not, hope helps some of us. It may be false hope, I don't care. If it's proven wrong that we shouldn't be placing our hope in this, then when the next thing comes along, we will place our hope in whatever that may be. That may make no sense to you, but go back to chair bound and then back to absolutely 0 symptoms one more time and I, among others, will probably call you a liar. Are you telling me you were completely 'chair bound' and are now having not one, single MS symptom? You may doubt this treatment, but I doubt that. Advanced to chair bound to TOTALLY MS FREE doesn't happen. Maybe it's all in your head.

It seems to me from going back and reading this thread from beginning to end that you just like to play "I'm right" and are a "last worder". We have many argumentative people on here who spur debate and are essential to this site (Bob, GWA are good examples); they make us stop, take a gut check and re-evaluate what we just said. There is no room on here for someone who just wants to argue to play "I'm right". When your stumped or when you've been proven wrong (which admittedly I haven't seen yet), give it up. Just continuing the argument makes you look trite and trivial. I don't rip on many people, but your tone on here is the shittiest I've seen in my 2+ years of visiting on here. You are like the neighborhood kid who loses a fight and then says "well your ugly!" while running away. Come on here and argue, but don't be such a twat.

Someone who had to take their mommy with them for treatment, don't you have a spouse of a significant other? didn't think so. You are a miserable simp.

I never once disrespected you or told you to shut up or called you any names. This is all you.

Now I am off to home depot and going to watch a game with some friends. Have a good evening.

No mommy went with me you shit head. You got me mixed up with someone else and who cares if my mom would have went with me. the fact is you always get the last word in like a bitch. You just can't shut up Kyle. I bet your gonna reply to this post just to get the last word in. Figure it out yet? Nobody wants you here...

Rules of the Board

Postby NHE » Sat Sep 06, 2008 2:49 pm

I'm not going to get into refereeing a shouting match between two members of the forum. However, I will point out that our Rules of the Board clearly state that ...

Arron wrote:Just a friendly reminder: We love the debating that's been going on lately because it forces people to think critically and challenge their own beliefs.

However, there can be too much of a good thing. If you disagree with someone, please succintly state why and let it go at that. Point, counterpoint, counter-counter point, etc. is not useful-- the reality is that after the first disagreement, you will rarely convince another of something they feel strongly about unless you have shocking new information to share. The drawn-out debates also turn people off from reading the messages in the first place. If you really have to get something off your chest, please send that person a Private Message-- there is no need to have a long argument in public.

ThisIsMS's purpose is to be a helpful resource for people affected by MS. The current activity in this thread serves no one.

Thank you for your cooperation.

That was me who had my mommy with me and I'm proud of it. We're a very close family. I had brothers, sisters and in laws there too. I never married because after college, I got busy taking care of a father who eventually died of leukemia while I was attending grad school. By the time all of that worked itself out, MS hit four months later. I wasn't exactly a prized pick at the bachelor auction from that point on.

Folks, I think we do have a troll in our midsts. One of the posters earlier made the very astute observation about a certain poster disappearing after Keri embarrassed he/she/it and another poster appearing.

I'm amazed at how "ugly" people can get! Yikes.

Steven - I think it's great that your mom went up to Balti with you. You were not the only one!

For the record, we are pretty much required to have a caretaker with us when we are in Baltimore. If I had a mother, I would have brought her. Instead, I had to dig around and find 3 other people who could take a week off from their lives to come help and support me.

Anyhow, whether its a cure or not...all that matters is, in my opinion, how we all feel at the end of the day.

What I don't understand is - why do people hang out on THIS board if they are against it or whatever? We're here for support. Now I really see why people have left after having the treatment. Sheesh.

And yes, Steven, I remember that person...

My mom's going with me. What the heck's wrong with that? I haven't taken a dime or any amount of my Mother's time since I was 18. Now I have a family and my entire family can't just be put on hold, especially during school. My Mom's retired, makes sense. Anyone knocking that as any sign of I don't know even know what should be unequivocally ignored. What's that got to do with the treatment anyway? It's like the rent thing too. Like I said, I had this guy pegged as a contrarian from the word go. Argue about treatments and different points of view. Don't come on here to pick a fight and then just argue about whatever. That just brings out the worst in everyone. My advice is for Kyle to grow up. This thread looks like the comments section on a liberal political blog. There's a place for that, but not on here. Post that kind of crap in Daily Life where we talk about anything. Come on here and shout about Revimmune, but leave stuff like who can compose sentences and who is going as your support and whose paying the rent in the areas they belong.

This isn't a 'free speech zone', this is a support group. If you aren't here to support (which includes debate about theories) go somewhere else.

Do you think the MS could have changed Kyle's personality? I know of individuals with MS who in additon to symptoms that can be seen, have personality changes - sometimes becoming very angry.
