Hello everybody, my name is Juliana I am new to this board...

my husband has MS and we are trying to get him into JH for Revimmune treatment ASAP due to his conditions... I was given an appointment for October 2010 :(
I was wondering how long did it take for some of you to get in.
Also if they gave you a far away date at first and were able to move your appointment to a closer date.

i have been talking to Mary Brown ( very helpful and understanding) at JH...
but nothing yet!

We can't wait until next year!!!
Thank you all!

I got in last year very rapidly during the open label period that occured during the summer of 2008. I sent my records in May, saw Dr. Kerr and Brodsky in early June and was treated in early July.

I remember they called right after my records arrived and said that I'd be receiving a letter letting me know of an appointment much later but they'd call with something sooner. They had to get me in their system and the later appointment was like an auto-generated type of thing.

I will say that the widespread excitement about HiCy was just starting at that point so there probably is more demand now and again, when I did it, it was open label for a while.

Best of luck.

Thank you so much for sharing "Steven73" (not sure about your name)
Things have changed quite a bit since last year at JH!

I can't wait for an opening... praying every day!
Hope the treatment went well for you and is helping you.

smiles,
juliana

I was also in the same timeline as Steven. Sent records in May, appointment in June, HiCy in July. I then went back for a second round of HiCy this past May.

Keep calling them - hound them if you have to - it's your health!!

Good luck and keep us posted,

~Keri
