Hello,
could someone please tell me in regards to private messages, if messages in your outbox have been sent or not? What is the difference between Outbox and Sent messages? Thanks

From what I can make out, the outbox act like two boxes in your emails. I holds your messages while they are being sent, but it also has the same purpose as a draft box. It is worth checking from time to time that things have left it. It happens that messages delayed by the site being very busy are eventually sent. If they are sent they should disappear from your outbox.

Someone here explained the outbox/sentbox differently, that it remains in the outbox until the person reads it. Then it goes to the sentbox. Not sure!

Yes, I think you're exactly right, Cece.

Hi LisaAnn,
You may wish to read the Forums FAQ sticky at the top of the forum. It discusses how the outbox works with the site's private messaging system.
