I would like to see a list of all of the research being done in universities and colleges world wide. It would probably be a staggering amount of potential cures that are very close for those of us suffering now.

Those who have ALS should be among the first to get some decent treatment. They have a really horrible life and deserve all the help they can get.

Agree w/ gwa. I think most of the general population would be shocked that something like ALS exists. Before I became more (unfortunately) familiar with neuro diseases my knowledge of Lou Gehrig's disease was very vague. Knew it was bad but not to the level I know now. Any bit of good news is huge for people dealing with that monster.
