Forgive me if this is a repeat of info already on this web site.
Heard something on the radio here in Los Angeles yesterday and wondered if anyone has heard that stem cell treatment for MS patients at USC has been going on here.

I don't know if someone can just call up USC and find out more information. It is probably oversimplistic but about two years into this disease I'm convinced stem cells will be what will repair the permanent damage. As long as they can fix the damage, what causes MS it won't be so important.carolew wrote:got it. So much politics unfortunately for the patients.

I have relapsing progressive MS and use a walker. MS cince 2002 diagnosis--
I went to a UCLA doctor and she told me that there was NOTHING that I would qualify for--"medicines don't work well in progressive". I don't agree! I am searching.........
