Hi,

I'm thinking about taking part in an upcoming phase-III tovaxin trial.
Do you think it is realistic to assume that the phase-III could start mid 2009?
Can I expect that Opexa will establish studiy sites in germany?

To make sure I basicly meet the inclusion criteria of MRTCs it would be great if I could get tested in the near future.
I know that this test would not be relevant for the inclusion criteria and it test would have to be repeated anyway, but it would give me a better feeling to know at least in generaly I have MRTCs.
I heard about people who wanted to enter the Tovaxin trial but failed because no MRTCs could be found.

If I knew that I do not have or dont have enogh or the wrong MRTCs I would not waste time waiting for the trial to start but could try to find an other good treatment option for me.

Thanks

--Frank

Hi Frank,

Believe it or not, it is very easy to talk to the people at Opexa. Their medical coordinator for the trial is Dr. Garces. I got the phone number from http://opexatherapeutics.com in the Contact tab. I would ask Dr. Garces where to go to get that test run if you really want to get it done before hand. I would not think that a presence of MRTC's test is done at just any lab and they may tell you they have to do it, but I would start wtih Dr. Garces.

Hi Lew,

I already wrote an email to the adress shown in the opexas contact tab (http://www.pharmafrontiers.net/contact.php) but got no reply.
On the contact form there is just the general adress an contact information for Opexa - no individuals.
Have I been looking at the wrong place?

I just looked at pharmafrontiers webpage. After Opexa bought them, it looks like it is a medical communications company based in Asia! Click on the link in my first post. That has Opexa's current information.

When I click on your opexa link I get to their main page.
Then I click on the contact field (right top of the page) the takes me to the page I posted (http://www.pharmafrontiers.net/contact.php) which does belog to Opexa but just dispays the general contact information.

http://www.pharmafrontiers.net/ shows the same page as http://www.opexatherapeutics.com/
