I refer y'all to p.2 of our new protocol/consent form stuff.

p. 2 of 14

TO BE IN THIS STUDY

· You cannot be in this study if you did not receive at least one dose in the previous TERMS study...

Is this "one dose" Tovaxin? As you all may recall, I stirred up a hornet's nest when I reported back that my first injection was different "stuff" than what I received subsequently.

My wild goose chase sort of makes sense... the placebo gang surely should have an early indicator of some sort that they can tolerate the Good Stuff. It would be--in my opinion--a serious waste of therapy time--if one of us spent more than a year spinning our wheels.

Do you all interpret this phrase the way I do?

If I'm right, I'm not as crazy as I thought I was... small consolation?

I interpret as one shot, of whatever...Tovaxin, placebo, tequila.

If it's a 66/33 vaccine/placebo study, I'd think it would screw the program royally to have some people in the 33 get any of the vaccine. It wouldn't technically be placebo then, would it? It would be a weakened vaccine administration.

They've already proven tolerability with the Phase 1 study, so this part's designed to see if the damned stuff actually works.

That's my understanding and interpretation. And I don't know anything.

I agree with Patrick. I think what it means is that you had to have had one shot of anything...Jack Daniels????

Oh never mind, it's my birthday and I am in DC for a conference and it's time to celebrate!

Catch you all later!
