I hope you're right Harry. We have one thing now though; massive proliferation of people with internet access. I think that if, over time, enough of our stories continue to improve, they can circle the wagons all they want. And short of censoring the internet, it will remain a buzz if all the news remains positive.

I agree with your assessment though, pitiful, huh?

Harry,
Definitely one better. I think CCVSI will be received better outside the traditional MS circle. Several have suggested that MS be left from the discussion since the correlation or causation is such an issue. I guess it comes down to, who cares if it causes MS at this point if it helps. If it is found to be the cause later, we have suffered less in the meantime. It seems that the more education one has the more closed minded one becomes. Not that I expect neuro’s to drop all autoimmune related research but it would seem to the logical mind given the information known at this point, neuro’s would be interested. I guess time will tell how this all plays out.

W5, a news program on the CTV Network in Canada, interviews Dr. Zamboni on his CCSVI work. I think you will find this VERY interesting. It has 5 or 6 parts and has a couple of commercials in it.

In your ever ending quest for changing the subject to one of your finding, I think you may be starting to see that this avalanche won't be stopped until it is actually disproven; which won't be accomplished by trying to find new spins on old drugs and digging up old research on vitamin D. Hell I think that is part of the puzzle too and sunbathe more than I should for that very reason. But it doesn't mean I'm "mad" at CCSVI as you seem to be. It may be disproven, but I will wait and see myself rather than trying to take our eyes off the hot topic of the day.

Hi Harry-
That's me, my hubby Jeff, and our son (and dog!) in part 2 of the documentary....
Glad you got to see it!
And Scorpion, I'll stay off your threads from now on. Only wish you health and happiness-no malice-may you find what you're looking for.
Cheer/Joan

..and in the vit. D forum, and the blah, blah forum. Just made a comeback is all. One area where I must disagree with you is that I never said that the avalanche was in need of being taken seriously. I just said you won't stop this one until it's disproven. Look around. It's a freakin' avalanche and it hasn't been 'proven' yet. You can't doubt that it's created a huge buzz. So I think you are right in one aspect. Medically, among neurologists and the like you are probably right. They won't take it seriously until proven, but that doesn't mean it's not big and picking up speed. That's not what I was referring to. I was referring to the fact that it is gathering momentum, not that it needed to be taken seriously.

In this corner, wearing the red trunks are the old thinking neuros and big pharma. In the other corner, Dr. Zamboni, wearing the blue trunks and bringing a whole new concept to the fight against MS.

With the billions of $$$ that potentially will be lost, the red trunk people are going to make this a very nasty flight.

Well it seems to me that all the buzz is the process of gathering said FACTS. You can't get those unless you research; agreed? I was only being a smartass to the eyeroll smiley Bob. How can any theory be proven without research? It's just that the research is producing a lot of positive anecdotal evidnence. All I'm sayin'. Maybe I shouldn't have been a smart ass, but you must admit to Scorpion starting the fight with his "Run for the hills!! Don't do CCSVI!!" post a while back. Agreed? Did he have any countering facts to offer? I'd love it if you'd really answer that. There's three questions right there. Am I wrong in any one of them? I don't think so.
