Hi not sure if I have ms or not but undergoing tests ATM. Went to bed one night and in the morning I was havin trouble walking within the hour I got worse with numbness in 1leg and heaviness in the other also numb in thestomach area buttocks and private areas had a lumber puncture MRI scan both come up clear just a bit scared as to what the problem is his has been 6 weeks now.can anyone please try and let me no if anyone else has had these sort of symptoms thank you

Welcome to thisisms, well a little from my story, i woke up one morning with tingling on one side of my body then it spreaded to both extremities, stomach area, my back, my private area, almost all part of my body under my shoulder. Then the symptoms added, i began to develop fatigue, weakness on one leg (heaviness). And now, i have bladder n bowel issue also problem with walking especially stiffness n unbalance. Two years later after my first symptoms, i got an MRI scan and they found many white spots in my brain. Never had any lumbar puncture though.

Anyway, i have friends who were diagnosed with MS and they had clear MRI scan though they have all the symptoms.

Hope u'll find the truth about your symptoms, never hope u have MS though.

Thank you for that wish these 3or 4 weeks until I get the results will hurry up so that I can hopefully find out wot this is.

I can't help you much with symptoms as I am new as well. My journey started with optic neuritis. A round of iv steroids has brought my sight back but I am waiting on MRI as well.

I go may 22 and get the results the following week. I was not anxious at all but as time goes on my positive nature is dwindling.

I have had periods of tingling hands/feet and numbness but I have always cracked it up to carpal tunnel. I have no experience to your extent. I hope it gets better for you.

Well let's hope u can get sorted as well as me. This is goin into the 7 th week now and I'm much the same as I was wen I first got this.i hav a brain scan on Friday don't really no wot this is supposed to find out(probably see if I hav a brain lol) u hav to keep smiling and try to be positive but really you are scared. Constipation is a biggy for me also.can't afford to be off work much longer either . Good luck hope u get there sooner rather than later

Try taking a probiotic supplement. I've found them helpful. Take them on an empty stomach and don't eat for 20-30 minutes afterwards.
