Free Radicals Cause of MS

I just want to say I am not a medical expert in anyway, I am an individual who has been diagnosed with MS and do not really believe that immune suppressants are the answer.

I more then any doctor in the world know how my body feels, so I have been going through and through trying to match the pieces of this puzzling disease. This is what I have come up with.

The environment and what you eat is a major cause of free radicals in our body. Free radicals are un paired cells which can cause cell destruction and attack the body. Usually our immune system can wipe these out, but in my opinion depending on where you live and your body and antioxidant intake, free radicals can take over. This I believe causes cardiovascular problems such as CCSVI, which restrict oxygen to the brain (Symptoms of fatigue and dissiness) Which in turn allows the free radicals to get into the brain and spine and cause damage.

I believe this is why auto suppressants work temporarily because they kill of your immune helpful cells and also the free radicals.

This is why I also feel that LDN works well, because what it does is increase your immune system which in turn helps eliminate the free radicals. This is also why things such as HBOT work, because it increases your oxygen flow and immune system.

What are your thoughts? Is LDN, HBOT and antioxidants the way to really help with MS and are the anti suppressants just hurting us in the long run? Wiping out our friendly cells.

you are correct. MS is caused by a series of system failures that result in molecular mimcry and a breach in the blood brain barrier but before this is to occur a metabolic malfunction resulting in dystautonomia and CCSVI has to occur. Free radicals or environmental stresses coupled with an inborn error caused by what I believe is a misstep in the biosysthesis of Heme and the heme precursors ie porphyrins are released in the body. they are known to cause molecular mimicry and all sorts of naughty deeds.

one of the major reasons we have so many free radical actions going on in our body is because of our diet--
basically, we become what we eat--if eat raw, fresh greens, vegetables and fruits, your body can handle any free radicals created in its metabolism of these foods--it is "built" to do this.
But eat cooked, processed, denatured, fake foods, and you create way too many free radicals for your body to deal with--and so they do their damage--
So we create illness--and of course not just MS

CCSVI causes iron to accumulate in the brain tissue. In turn this iron will participate in this beautiful reaction, converting the precious oxygen of an already oxygen starved tissue to hydroxyl radicals.

The Fenton reaction

and porphyria is known to be a consequence of a chl. pneumonia infection. I agree with the idea of free radicals being the cause of ms but I think those are not only from our diet but from an infectious cause that prevent the body from cleaning themI would recommend you take a look at CPn Help regarding the chain cpn-porphyria-free radicals-ms.
Hope it helps:-)
