a little update on my condition/diagnosis

Havent been on here in a while because I've been really really sick. So turns out that my neurological symptoms can all be explained as gallbladder disease(gallbladder disease can cause swallowing problems which in turn creates speech problems). Also my vertigo and nausea can be explained by this. I ahve had a lot of other symptoms that could still be ms or some other form of neurological disorder but I am expecting once my gallbladder is taken out everything will clear up. Im thanking god that it may only be my gallbladder but tired of suffering.

The pain/nausea, etc has gotten worse in the past 5 weeks(i've been to the er 5 times)...I was finally referred to go back and see my general surgeon(who was looking into other things 2 years ago when i had chronic diahrrea and pain on my right side of my abdomen-crohns and colitis runs in the family so thats all he checked for).

Now last friday I had a Hida scan which i believe showed that my gallbladder isnt working properly(the tech told me that the injection should leave my gallbladder within 30-45 minutes after its been injected...mine didnt start leaving until they made me have an attack about an hour and 15 minutes in). I get the results on the 15th and then will be booked for surgery(tho if i get booked for surgery im just gonna go to the er and get the dr on call to take it out because i cant take the pain anymore).
Right now I am on t3's, buscopan, clonazepam(for the anxiety the attacks give me), pantaloc and lots of gravol...if my gallbladder gets taken out then i will only be on two perscriptions(unless the surgery gets rid of my headaches as well-which i read gallbladder disease could also cause).
Still going to see a new neurologist up in Saskatoon on the 24th but dont think anything will come from it(cuz we just sold our house and are moving back to ontario in mid may).

Im very excited to find out if this has been all its been all along. Sorry for the long post but im pretty happy right now(even tho Im still suffering with attacks everytime i eat...oh and i've also lost 22 lbs in the last 4 weeks cuz of it so that makes me happy because I am very overweight-also which could have been from gallbladder disease cuz one day i was super skinny and 6 months later i was huge, but not so happy because its an unhealthy way to lose weight)

Hey Jimmylegs,

Thanks for your message. I spent the night in the hospital again and they had me see my general surgeon this morning for my hida scan results(we were pretty sure i would have surgery) but he told me that its not my gallbladder causing my symptoms and that its probably just irritable bowel...which is bullcrap cuz i know its my gallbladder...i can feel it in my chest, my back(between shoulder blades) and right under my right side rib cage. My family Dr told my mom at one of her appointments this week not to let them cut me open to find out that i should wait till i move back to ontario and seee a good specialist(we sold our house this week so will be back near ottawa in just over 2 months).
Im just very frustrated.
Thanks for listening

Twistymirrors -- with your description
i can feel it in my chest, my back(between shoulder blades) and right under my right side rib cage.
I wonder if your sensations can be referred pain from another location. Or... a problem in the common duct which is used by the liver, gallbladder, and PANCREAS to move their secretions into the small intestine. Or... could your problem be pancreatitis?

We think that now I may have been poisoning myself...I leave my window open all day long and all night. My window opens to a room thats between the house and the garage...we're wondering if from all the traffic and stuff that goes by here(i live on two busy streets here in regina) if I had carbon monoxide coming into my room and have just been slowly poisoning myself. Since Saturday I have closed my windows and i seem to be getting better...theres not as much pain or nausea...not back to a 100% but starting to feel better and starting to get my apetite back...So i dont know its just all weird.
I've had multiple blood tests done and other tests and nothing ever shows up wrong. Guess we'll see how it goes the next few nights.
