Hot head

Sorry if this has been dealt with in another thread but I couldn't find anything in a search.
My partner with SPMS has pretty severe cognitive issues and her brain fog can get quite intense at times. I have noticed that at these times her head is very hot, comparable to a flu level fever. (Whereas her hands and feet are still very cold). This is not necessarily related to room or ambient temperature either, although extreme warmth exacerbates the issue.. Sometimes this can subside within minutes and her brain clears somewhat too. She is at her best, temperature-wise, when she is horizontal in bed (inclined as advisede). Is this something I wonder that CCSVI can shed some light on?
In general one would have thought that being vertical should help 'drainage' doesn't it or am I (probably) missing a trick somewhere?

A lady with MS where I live, was having very similar issues: Terrible fog and she felt as if her back of the neck was boiling. We discussed about her issue and I told her about CCSVI and that she has nothing to lose by having herself scanned.

She has found multiple stenoses, so obvious, that they were directly visible by the ultrasound itself, without even using the echo doppler to have the blood speed measured.

When you are uprigt, the IJVs collapse. If they are already narrow, they will block completely, making it even worse.

Good luck!

I often have the impression that the right half of my head is very hot, especially my ear. I don't why.

Yes, I get a hot head (actually it is an abnormally warm head), and the warm head goes along very consistently with many of my symptoms, including brain fog. Magnesium foot soaks and much better hydration have been helping a lot.
What do I mean by much better hydration ?
1) No more Reverse Osmosis filtered water
2) Much more than 8 glasses a day and to go along with the higher water intake:
3) Sufficient sodium intake (Not low sodium at all). I salt my water with 1/4 teaspoon of Morton's light salt per quart of water. The light salt is about 1/2 sodium chloride and 1/2 Potassium chloride.

I believe the issue causing the hot head (to a significant extent), to be one of overly thick blood.

I get an extremely hot head too. I notice the back and top of my head gets really really hot. Yet my hands and feet freeze.... I do not notice any cognitive issues.

To be more specific, the hot head thing I get is actually a warm head, that is warm mainly on the front and sides.
Additionally I used to get a light pressure in my head, particularly when standing (not when going from sitting to standing). Symptoms would go with the pressure also. symptoms would get worse the longer I stood (not very long). Sitting is better and lying down is better yet.
With much better hydration, the pressure issue has gotten a lot better, too.
