Hi everyone - I'm doing some serious fundraising for you guys and was wondering if you would be kind enough to spread the word. Check out the site below to find out what has taken nearly 3 years and over £1,500 of my own money to make happen.

Good work, sounds horrible though! I just donated £10, which I know isn't much but it all counts, right?

***UPDATE*** Fundraising for the Multiple Sclerosis Society went over £4,000 last week. It seemed to take forever to hit that milestone....but it's history now. Bring on £5,000.

A VERY BIG THANK YOU INDEED to everyone who has sponsored me and provided much needed support and encouragement. You have no idea how much it's appreciated, it really is. More than one person has told me since I started this insanity that what I'm trying to do both regarding the amount that I'm trying to raise and the task I've set myself is not achievable. We'll see about that.

The £10,000 target is back on!!!

***UPDATE*** regarding the Lands End to John O'Groats in less than 9 days challenge.

- The £10,000 target is back on!!!

OK...this has been niggling away at me for nearly two months. I just can't get my head around being forced to reduce my target down to £7,000 because of one problem after another concerning fundraising. (Click on the link below which will take you to my Multiple Sclerosis fundraising site to understand what I'm talking about) My head says it's the right thing to do, my heart says otherwise. I set out to raise £10,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I INTEND TO DO. If I don't make it to £10,000 by next April then I'll carry on fundraising after the event if I have to.

So, if there's anybody out there reading this who thinks they would like to sponsor me, that would be awesome...I could really do with a little help right now guys!

I just wanted to say a sincere heartfelt 'thank you' to everyone who has taken an interest in this 'little' £10,000 fundraising venture that appears to have taken over my life at the moment - all proceeds going to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Your kind comments and support has been just incredible! Geoff.

Whoo Hooooo!

What was that? That was the £4,500 mark being passed! :)

I don't have MS...but I want to help people who do.

100's of hours of training....100's of hours of fundraising and planning. Pretty much most of my spare time for nearly 3 years. £2,500 of my own money...and 7 days annual leave. Overcoming negativity and so many obstacles it's unreal! Countless late nights working into the early hours of the morning. For what? <shortened url>

Why? Because I want to do more than just say "Oh that MS is so terrible"...and then go back to my life. I want to make a meaningful difference...£10,000 worth of difference and whilst doing it - get people to talk about MS!
