hello
i just raised my bed all by myself. yay!
if I were to wait for my boyfriend to do it, it might get done by x-mas
I used some upside down saucepans, but they are not 16 cm, I think they are about 12. so its not the full 6 inch....does that mean it does not work? does it have to be full 6 inch? do i need to get down ikea and get some more pans. I have tried to find something else that is steady enough, and can take the weight of the bed. but havent found anything I could use out the shed.
is it even better benefit if I increase it even further? maybe if i get 20 cm, think that would be about 8 inches.
trying everything here, whilest waiting for the operation, everything from holding my breath to raising my bed, anything to make me feel better :P

Sofia: it is already a great step. Try to adapt few days at 12cm; it will be easier for you!

Meanwhile check the forums at Andrew's (the genious behind it) here http://andrewkfletcher.com/ and record your experience - It'll help :)

Cheers!

Hello and thank you
Have done it just one night now, eith the 12 cm. I do not notice it that much that the bed was tilted. Asked my boyfriend what he thought, or if he had any aobjections, and he couldnt say he had noticed it much, that we were sleeping at an angle. So i do not think it will be much problems raising it even further.
Great website, that I'll post my experiences as we go along, and if I experience any progress from it. Great stuff :-)

I must say! Flippin heck! It is working!

Yeasterday I had a good day, better then I've had in more then a month. Or before last Tysabri poisening that made me bed bound in mid March.

I cleaned the house, still feeling dizzy, but it was'nt too bad. Took my little one to the emergency room, made dinner and played with the kids. Went to bed absolutley shattered, thinking I'd pay for it today, and probably rest of the week, but woke up feeling refreshed!

It might very well be placebo, but whatever it is, it is very welcome! And I'm not putting my bed back down, in fact I raised it to just under 20 cm last night :D

Short lived improvements, but sticking with it. Its free, its effortless, and does no harm. I still belive it will do me good in the long run.
i do not understand this disease, before it was attacks that went away, then it was a steady improvment, I think, at least I could pin point what made me worse. A rough night with the little ones, over doing it in any sort of way, then needed time to recover. Now it is absolutley higgelty piggelty, all over the place, some very good days, and some extreamly rough, it can also differ on same day. I don't get it, I don't know what to do about it. Just thinking this operation can't come soon enough.
