Does anyone know what it means when your told that your MRI of the brain showed increased MS activity and some additional white spots. My MRI of my spine showed Bulging Discs, I have no idea what all of this means. Maybe this would explain why I am so symptomatic. I am really scared now, does this mean I am destined for a wheelchair? What's next?

I am worried, I have also been thinking about going back on LDN but wondering if now is the right time seeing as I am so symptomatic.

Suzer: nothing is more unpredictable than MS... You may well stabilize there; remit a bit or much; maybe get worse... None can tell...

Keep a good spirit first; and "I" suggest you consider LDN again.

The best of wishes :) Be well!

No, it doesn't mean you are destined for a wheelchair. The additional white spots indicate some new plaques, which may or may not cause new symptoms. Some people have lots of spots and minimal symptoms, others have one or two spots and are in a wheelchair.
Bulging discs are usually just wear and tear on your spine -very common -nothing to do with ms.
I would consider going back on LDN, look at the MS Recovery Diet or Best Bet Diet (direct-ms.org), and do a lot of research into CCSVI, a radical new way to treat ms.

I agree with everything you said except bulging discs. Believe me, I got bulging disc at the age of 26 (cannot be wear and tear) and that was the time when I was going through lot of MS issues and was diagnosed at that time. I have bulging in lower back and I feel the discs reacted to lack of signal reaching to this area (as I have lesions in my upper spine).
