if anyone has any insight into what it means that the MRI I had on Sunday had no change form the one from 1 year ago, I'd appreciate it. I get that is is viewed as good, but I don't get if that means that progression has stopped...neither did my neuro.

thanks all!

My husband's MRI has not changed in 8 years (unless for the better), but his progression has never halted. Sorry.

That also means that lesions have not healed which is what happens during remission. Probably the brain is not getting time to heal ...

no need to say sorry, it is just as I thought, not an indication of anything good or bad. It is really just how I feel that is the indicator.

thanks Lyon, I appreciate that persepctive.

Yes it was a contrast MRI. So there were no active lesions and there were no new lesions that were inactive either. So that, along with the feeling that I've stabilized some, is correlation in my view. My neuro did not claim this was amazing, but that along with the exam made him feel good that the copax was doing what it should be doing.
