Acupuncture….. Some people say it sounds like relaxation
I did try it but it was more like a painful trip
I still remember the doctors, mopping up my blood after removing the needles
I had a talk with Chinese doctors who know a bit about MS. They told me that it would not stop the disease but it could help to improve my mobility. Also they said that the sooner I would do it, the bigger the benefits would be.
So…I decided to try.
I had two different kinds of sessions: one to repair the lesion in my spinal cord, one other to improve my ms symptoms.
After some sessions (1 every two days, during 5weeks) I could feel some improvements (increase of strength in left side which is my “affected side”) but no miracle happened here: I could not jump or run like a goat …even after a 5 weeks session.
The funny thing is: after 5weeks, my legs were “jumping” each time the needles were introduced. They (Chinese doctors) explained to me that there was nothing to worry about, it was very positive that I could feel the “flow of energy” in my legs.
“Positive” maybe, but “painful” for sure
I had much more positive results with Chinese medicine but that’s an other topic.
I remember SBR asked me some questions about that, but unfortunately, the medicines I am taking are typical Chinese herbs and even Chinese doctors were not able to translate the name of these herbs.
Coming back to the topic, I guess acupuncture is just a supplement
Well that’s just my personal experience with it…
Cheers
