Hi everyone :)

Over the last 2 weeks I have been sooo tired!! To the point of it getting in the way of me living my life. I've had the last 10 days off work and all I have wanted to do is lay about n sleep!! I started sleepin durin the day, sometimes for up to 3 hours. I go to bed stupidly early now too, last night I was in bed by 830! I can barely keep my eyes open.

I'm havin my meds delivered today so seeing my nurse tomorrow so I'll ask her about it but thought I'd see if anyone could give me any advise on here too?

Thanks :)

It's a frustrating place to be. My best advice is to acknowledge that your energy supply is limited at the moment and instead of pushing yourself beyone what you can cope with, only do what you have energy for. In the long run it's better. Is there someone around who can help out with stuff or pick up some slack? In my case, hiring a cleaner was the best thing I ever did!

Are your work flexible? Qould they let you drop your hours for a bit so that you can still work some?

Other than that, go with the daytime sleep - I find that if I sleep during the day it's because my body really needs it.

I hope it passes soon.

I've only been at my job for 6 weeks....only got diagnosed after maybe 2 weeks of bein there? My manager didn't seem very bothered....not that I want him to be OTT but I just don't think he understands about it to be honest. I don't really wanna ask to drop my hours n we can't afford it anyway. I live wiv my boyfriend n he's great wiv doin housework etc so thats not so bad.

I also had ringin in my ears in my ears a few times yesterday....is that somethin to do wiv MS??

Ear ringing could be MS related.

I know what you mean about needing the money. It's a reall bummer to have to keep slogging on when you feel crap. Some people have told me that oxygen therapy really helps with fatigue. Other than that, rest when you need to and try and sleep well at night.
