Depressed loss of sexual sensation

As of about 4 months ago, i noticed i have almost 0 feeling in my penis. During this time bladder problems increased also, i only feel a slight pain when i need to go to the bathroom thats it. Over the past few weeks my muscular reflex in the area has improved a bit, but the sensation is maybe even less now. I can successful masturbate barely, cialis doens't really help much.

I am only 24 years old, and just started dating a beautiful woman. This is making me unbelievably depressed. Is it possible the feeling can come back? As a man this seriously makes me want to off myself.

You got to see an urologist. Immense progresses have been made in this domain and at 24; it can not be serious. Certainly temporary.

Go to see them; talk openly; it's their job - Good luck and congratulations on your dating ;)

Definately. But also, what medications are you on? That can be all the difference...

i lost sensation during my dx attack and yes that was extremely unpleasant, but sensation did come back.

i can only thank the modified klenner protocol i used then for any recovery of sensation and functionality there and elsewhere.

at the same time, klenner as i applied it could not address all the issues ms patients face. also, we're all different and my own history gave me good reason to suspect malnutrition from the get-go.

very sorry to hear about your problems. i would suggest bloodwork and using the results to establish a direction for supplementation. i can't guarantee this will correct your problem i can only say that over and over again i have made gains by identifying and correcting deficiencies and imbalances.

i wish you all the best in your relationship and although i'm sure it's no comfort.. about to colour outside the lines ooops!.. i was in a relationship for close to a decade with a guy that had some functional issues (he's now taken advantage of nutritional advice to his benefit.. too bad we broke up HAHA)

anyway.. even if fixing your nutritional status doesn't help, if you have an understanding partner it can work!

Well, I dont have an understanding partner! My problem is that I just have NO desire for sex, period. When I go to bed, its time to go to sleep, to me. Fortunately or unfortunately, dont know yet, I may not have to worry about that much longer. She said she was moving out, after 22 years of marriage.

Don't despair - I am sure you will get better.

Demyelinating peripheral neuropathy is not uncommon in those with MS - and with this amount of sensation loss you describe you MUST rule this out. Numbness or altered sensation in this area could be due to thickened lumbar nerve roots in the S1/L4/L5 area, just where they leave the spine around the cauda equina. Insist your neurologist carry out a sacral MRI scan (with dye), even if conduction studies are normal or near normal. If they hesitate, get it done privately.

Do you cycle a lot, or use one of those hard racing saddles? Serious loss of sensation in this area is also known to happen to cyclists who injure nerves or reduce the blood flow to the "saddle" area - think of how CCSVI is thought to be associated with MS. Avoid sitting too much. Foods high in nitrates are known to increase blood flow in this area, plus raw garlic works for some people.

Get as much massage as you can tolerate from someone trained in deep tissue massage as it also gets the blood flowing as much as possible.

Also you should definitely check your zinc levels.

Good luck,
