winded easily during relapse?

Another 'anyone else get this?' question:

Leg is acting up again over the last couple weeks; had been behaving more or less for over a year. But here is something I hadn't noticed before: It's not just that my leg is getting tired quickly during an activity that was no problem three weeks ago, but *I'm* getting tired. Winded more easily-- as if my whole body were exerting itself extra.

[In contrast - pre-relapse, the residual muscle weakness I had in that leg was not a problem for exercise. I just ignored the fatigue, the rest of my body was A-OK with keeping going.]

Normal? Something else?

--> I have also been dealing with a foot injury since August, so it is possible I'm just overweight and out of shape. Have been exercising through it, though, and no major weight gain over the last few weeks, so a sudden drop in aerobic fitness seems unlikely.

Shakiness on exertion and intention tremor have also been peeking out a little here and there, so maybe that is part of too. Is my body just an excited puppy panting at the door?

I have that and other breathing issues, I think it is more common than is discussed.
I don't think most neuro's are up to date on it. I think ms research is just coming around on it.
That being said, I hate it but give it another 25 years and maybe they will know something.

Thanks SF -- that's helpful. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else experiences this.

I have been surprised at how different doctors' descriptions of 'typical MS' are from what I read here. I could understand that being true a decade ago, but given the explosion of tools for gathering info from patients, it starts to be a little ridiculous.

Not understanding the mechanics of the disease I can see. But somehow being unaware of what patients are directly experiencing is very strange.
