I remember reading a more in-depth article relating to the same research a week or two ago and I'm sure they were talking about 'nerve cell regeneration' and not simply 'myelin repair.'

One of the researchers, Dr Ffrench I think, was quoted as saying that a reasonable estimate of the time it will take, if this line of enquiry proves successful, until a drug is available based on the technology would be fifteen years. So there's something to look forward to.
