Pain common in Multiple Sclerosis, restricts function

More than half of patients with multiple sclerosis in a new study reported moderate to severe pain that limits function.

"Pain is common in people with multiple sclerosis," lead investigator Denis Martin, DPhil, from Teeside University in Middlesbrough, the United Kingdom, told Medscape Medical News. 19 years ago the neuro i had at the time said no pain with ms My feet are like blocks of ice my legs are purple from the knees down and ache like hell not just once and a while 24/7 i take codeine like m&m's wake up with pain go to bed with pain
oh ya forgot to mention the spasticity this is un f.....g unbeliveable. glad to see neuros now include pain on their never ending list of symptoms

I guess wasting money on useless studies that serve absolutely no purpose is not limited to any one continent.

I am sorry Robbie; this travesty they call research does nothing for those of us living with this disease.
