"A few small scattered white matter lesions in the corona radiata, with a more dominant approx 11-mm white matter lesion in the left superior frontal gyrus subcortical white matter. These findings are nonspecific. Differential diagnostic considerations include demyelinating disease/MS, chronic small vessel ischemic changes, or vasculitis or alternative inflammatory etiology. There is no associated contrast enhancement. These lesions do not have a predilection for the corpus callosum. There is no evidence of acute infarct, intracranial hemmorrhage, mass effect or midline shift."

My symptoms have been on and off for at least 12 years. I have migraines with aura that last three days. I cannot function at all during this time.

Pain that travels throughout my body and muscle spasums.

Off and on, for 12 years, I've had episodes that last up to six weeks where I cannot walk straight, I drop everything, I miss everything I grab, I brush up against door jams when I walk and I fall easily. During these episodes I have full body tremors but only when using the muscles (if I sit still, I don't tremor). My brain is in a complete fog during these times and I have strange feelings on different parts of my skin like a feather is lying on my foot, or a peice of yarn is being pulled accross my back.

During an episode like the one I just described, two years ago, I lost my hearing in my left ear. I woke up one morning and 85% of my hearing was just gone. I since had a surgery because an ENT suspected Otosclorsis, but it wasn't that and I now wear a hearing aid.

For the last two years, I've also had constat full body tremors.

One year ago I was rushed into emergancy with Thyroid Storm (heart rate 158 beats per minute, passing out). I was dx'd with Graves disease and had radiation treatment to destroy my badly messed up thyroid.

I didn't have insurance for a long time and am finally seeing a nerologist who sent me for an MRI. He's also put me on Klonipin to try and ease the tremors. It has helped quite a bit, unless I try to exercise.

I have terrible balance and cannot walk the heal toe line at all - haven't been able to do it for years now.

For the past six months, I've had diplopia (vertical double vision), but only during the end of the day when my eye muscles are tired.

I am a 45 y o female, wife and mother to three. I see the dr tomorrow, but went to p/u the test results myself today. Any help in dissecting what they mean would be greatly appreciated!! My husband and I have always suspected MS because my symptoms (when I'm having them) point to MS on computer search.
Thanks so much,

im so sorry you must be scared I know how you feel and I think you must fight to just keep getting more tests, I know from my experience that getting some specific MS tests done and add in some less common tests such as vitamin D testing, demand a nerve conduction study and full mri of your brain and a seperate mri of your spinal cord. Im in your place right now but i have been in the system for over ten years with SLE so I know the trick to getting good treatment is reading all that you can on forums such as this one and hoping that someone who can help happens to read your post.

I wish I could be that person but I can offer you my support as a fellow newbie and will keep you posted on my upcoming cans and test results and what tests they have me taking so you can ask your doctor for the same.
