Does anyone have experience with a "Walk aide? I have really bad drop foot and I stumble alot. I had only two drop foot
related falls, thank God, and I think I could benefit from it. I read that it's really expensive. Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.
God bless!!

Hi dlynn,

If you haven't checked there yet, there are a few threads about it on the Medical Devices forum, although there may be some on General, too. Here's a link:

Hope you see this message before your thread gets moved there  and I hope you find the information you're looking for.

Hi there,
Newly dx, but have had to use walk aids. It may seem odd, but I started wearing Reebok "EasyTone" shoes. They forced me to lift my feet higher to walk--and I had to think about it and be more conscious of my walk. They helped. Also, if I started to trip--they would scuff or squeek, so I knew I had to stiop and get my balance. I now wear Hinged knee braces on both legs for strength and have regular phys. therapy. Hope it helps. :peace:

Thank you Muskan.
Civickiller, I start P.T. this week. My Dr. recommended it after my venoplasty. Did you have the procedure?
