Bladder control drug that does not constipate

Betaseron has me leaking. Does anyone with the same.issue (leakage) have any informaionn or tips to share? Thanks

I haven't been on Beta for about a
year, but once again my life is filled
with urine fun as they've got me on a
vesicare-self cath combo (my DH
Does it).
The dangers of urine retention I now
Know.
I still find myself wondering about these
Meds.
I would rather wear "pee pads" than take
Vesicare...but maybe my bladder will be
"retrained" by next uro visit...That is the
goal of this crazy vesicare-cath regemin...
I guess.
This whole time I'm thinking,
WHAT ABOUT DIURETICS?
There has to be a better way.
And it's not serjury.
Currently...I'm hoping Ty will be a cure-all.

Laura,
I've been getting Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) treatments from my urologist the last few months, kind of like acupuncture treatments in conjuction with electrical stimulation. The technique is described here:

I'd been reading about this technique for a few years, but it was my last unsuccessful attempt to use prescription drugs to treat overactive bladder that led to the lucky discovery that the urologist I use was familiar with PTNS and had been using it for many months with success to help many patients. The treatments have helped me to reduce accidents, voiding problems, and reduce urgency.
You might ask around and see if you can find a urologist in your area who is trained with this technique.
BTW, I'm on medicare, and the treatments are covered.
