Hello - My husband is going through the diagnosis stage. Back in November he was severly dehydrated and could not walk. An MRI showed he had hydrocephalus and a large tumor in the right cerebellum. The original diagnosis was either Lhermitte Duclos or glioma. He was goiong to have a biopsy but the steoid Dexamethasone made the tumor disappear.

He recently started having headaches and had an MRI on Monday. There were lesions on the MRI. Now he is being referred to a neurologist to rule out MS.

Do you know anyone on this board that had similar symptoms prior to MS diagnosis? :?:

I've had a brain tumor (metastasis from earlier lung cancer), but the effects were mainly headaches & nausea, and mine was surgically removed. Also, that was 12+ years before my first known MS symptoms.

Of the things you mention, not being able to walk could be an early MS sign, but that would depend on the details. I don't think hydrocephalus or tumors have been correlated with MS.

Best of luck to you both,
Mark
