Coffee, good or bad?

There's still no consensus on whether coffee is good or bad. I drink it for my fatigue every time I'm tired and don't feel like working. It doesn't increase my symptoms but I still don't know if I should be drinking it. What's the consensus?

Like so many other things, it depends on the person. I'm a coffee fiend myself, though I try to drink it only in the morning and not to exceed three cups. I generally drink water throughout the day and don't consume caffeine otherwise. If you're fighting with fatigue, you may want to investigate changing your diet. What you consume can have a huge impact on how you feel.

i love coffee, drink it all the time - but not for fatigue. but it won't help your body move ATP (aka energy) around.
yes coffee has magnesium (required for ATP transport) in it, but the caffeine makes you pee the mag out again so, on balance, not great for repairing nutritional fatigue.
if mineral levels are optimized (which as we already know, for most ms patients this is not the case, never mind 'normal' not being good enough) coffee should be fine in moderation.

I would avoid coffee altogether if you have bladder issues. It will only irritate your bladder.

I do not drink anything with caffeine in it. Believe it or not all I drink is water plus a little rice drink in my cereal.
