New to MS but not new to being tired

I was recently diagnosed with MS. For the last few months before diagnosis, I have felt like I was going to crack. Very tired and couldn't get enough sleep.

I've been out of work for a few weeks (flare and official diagnosis) and I thought that with all this rest I would feel a lot better. But it still takes nothing to wipe me out. Something as simple as grocery shopping and I feel like someone took all my energy and I just wanted to lay down.

Does this ever go away? I've started on Betasaron and I'm really watching what I am eating.

I forgot to mention....when the feeling of exhaustion comes, it also comes with a feeling like a lump in my throat like its hard to swallow? That is strange huh?

I was diagnosed with ms when I was 18 and now am 28 and I am always tired. MS drains all of you it seems. There are some medications that can help you with feeling awake. I used to be on some I am sorry I can not remember the names of them but I had a total of 5 different ones I tried. Each one would work for a bit and they all gave me a very awake feeling and very loopy but in a few weeks it would fade away and I would be tired. Like I said my doctor had me try 5 different ones and I just got so tired of taking them and having them not work so I stopped. It is hard to say just try to get rest but to me that is about the only advice I have. I have 2 little boys myself and am married and have help from my husband but I am always tired. If anyone else has some advice on this topic of staying awake please respond and help us both out!!
