Thanks Search, I have looked at McLeods Syndrome before, but no Dr. has considered it in my case. I've just done some more research and found that females with McLeod Syndrome only get "occassional Acanthocytes" and very mild hemolysis. It could also account for the chorea I suffered in 2010. I also carry the C282Y for hemochromatosis so that may have influenced the iron side of things.
I'll certainly keep McLeods in mind if things start to go backwards again.
