Is there a such thing as a headache relapse?

For as long as I can remember (even before my diagnosis) I would get headaches. These headaches wouldn't only just be for a few hours. They would last almost the whole day. I would take a few Tylenol or Ibuprofen and it would get a little better, only to return the next day. This would go on for weeks and then one day...POOF they were gone. They would stay gone for weeks or months, only to return in the same fashion.

I never thought of it to be a relapse. It got me wondering if it could be b/c the last time I was at my neuro's office I had told him about dizziness I was experiencing (all day every day) and he told me it was a vertigo relapse. I had never heard of that so it made me wonder how many different types of relapses there could be.

Just when I think I got this stupid disease figured out, something else surprises me.
