Hello everyone
I'm Claire I'm 35 and in November I suffered what they thought was a stroke stared with pins and needles in my leg all on the right hand side travelled up to arm then face then my speech went slow
I had ct scans and MRI bloods ect nothing showed up so I was sent home and told I had migraine aura
A few week later I suffers very bad virtigo to the point I was sick and spend a week in bed unable to lift my head the doctors sai it was possible tey were connected
Since then I'm constantly tired well exhausted sleeping over 12 hours if I can I get numb arms and fingers and am depressed for no reason I cry alot for nothing and can't lift heavy weights anymore even a pan of potatoes are heavy.
I was called back to the hospital this week as my local hospital caouldbt find anything wrong with me so they sent my MRI scan to Walton Liverpool where they have found inflammation around my nervouse system and I have to have another MRI in 11 weeks time
Upon asking the doctor what it is and why it's there he replied I don't want to worry you until your second scan is done

Wrong thing to say
Looking at my case and peacing things together I also suffer from cramp in my right foot and have done for years. Also have numb or dead arm and leg again on the right but I've always thought this was the way I sleep (on the right)
Since my November scare I've got loss of memory even my own address and dob sometimes
Names also I call everyone by the wrong name
Now I'm thinking I may possibley have the start of ms but the doctor will not tell me what the inflammation on the brain is

What do u guys think
Many thanks xx

heya cp, welcome, i'd say what i seem to say to everyone!: ask the docs to test serum zinc for starters. zinc affects so many other things. poor status can have widely variable consequences. i can particularly relate to your description of cognitive issues. i used to be REALLY bad, and it turned out i was significantly zinc-deficient. it's an easy thing to test, so may as well at least rule it out. i'm a completely different person since fixing zinc status. it's really been beneficial. also, be aware that hearing from the lab/doc that your level is 'normal' is not even close to good enough. if you have any questions about it, fire away :)

Just had my appointment from the Hospital it's for November long time to wait but I'm taking every day as it comes. I've had a numb leg again lasted a day and a night but was fine when I got up. Two days later I have a stiff neck and the most horrid pain in my back shoulder area
In really unsure if any pain or twitch I get weather to record it down like a diary to take to hospital when I go or I'm being paranoid with all this

ABSOLUTELY do a diary. but, time is of the essence so keep it as concise as possible. something they can glance at really quickly, perhaps a list of dates/times down the left column and maybe a three word description in the right column? it's really a wonderful way to give the docs a better picture of your day to day life without their having to listen, possibly interjecting with their questions, which can make you forget what you had wanted to say, etc. when you do go to the doc, you should really only need to take about three representative/typical days to show. no need to drag in a filing cabinet with you :)

from the sounds of it, the pain could be down to combined issues with magnesium and vit d3. both of those are also very useful tests to have done, and you might be able to get some bloodwork done before november. once you have some lab results, you can take action.

Quick reply. My doc rang and said no change on my 2nd MRI. But I had this quite quick, since having it I've felt different things come and go I'm very tired all the time I have mood swings and snap a lot. I have an episode of not being able to see right everything was like it was pixulated and my strength seems to have disappeared. I also have a very itchy head yet no lice or dry skin. It feels like I've got things crawling under my skin
What's going on ???
Appointment to go back has now changes til 27th dec !!
