MS pain

I am sure this is a topic that is discussed a lot. I often read about MS pain being all over the body or nerve pain. But my blow had hurt now for a good 4 months, it has spread. Doctors at first thought tennis elbow etc... but now the pain is sooo bad. I also happen to be going through a relapse right now which is not helping.

Could the pain be related to MS? I can't even touch the back of my arm, feels like someone punched me, so I can't say it's joint pain. Also the skin around it feels a little odd, the sensation I get. It's making me nutty if I cant get rid of this pain.

welcome iKat, sorry to hear about your pain. my brain always goes to magnesium and vit d3 first, when bone and/or muscle pain is in the picture. there are other possibilities in the picture, but you might want to read up on those if you think your status might be not great.

Is it at all swollen? If so, ask docs about edema and lymphedema. Try this - get a box of Epsom salts and mix 1/2 c boiling water with 1/2 c salts - they are really magnesium crystals. When it cools, apply to arm and any other parts that ache. Magnesium can be used transdermally to stop spasms and pain. If it works, can do this anytime but can also buy magnesium lotion or oil on amazon - Ancient Minerals brand is good. It's called oil since the mag. is slippery but it's just mag and water. The store bought ones have more mag per ounce than the homemade. Also, if you can still climb in a bathtub, dissolve 2 cups Epson salts ina warm bath and soak for 20 minutes.
