There was a case in Australia in which a HIV positive man was diagnosed with MS. He started taking HAART drugs (Anti HIV) and his MS got better. The report refers to "sustained resolution of MS deficits". (The case was reported in a letter to the European Journal of Neurology 2011 doi 10.1111/)Is there anyone out there who has MS who is also HIV+ve and who takes these drugs. If so did the drugs help your MS symptoms?

I bet its more coincidence than anything else. Based on the reading I have done MS has its own natural path. It may seem like the antiviral drugs are helping his disease but more likely than not it is just the natural course of the disease
