Help with MRI finding

Hello my name is Stephanie and I am new here ,, have a question
i just had a MRI with contrast and this is the finding ,,
6mm CSF signal intensity lesion involving the left temporal lobe medially and most likely related to a small choriod fissure cyst and an incidental finding
what it say what it say ???

does this have anything to do with ms

Hi there Stephanie

I am no expert but my MRI said I had a demyelinating disease - which 99% of the time is MS. Unless it says something similar, I think you are not looking at MS.

I am not sure what the cyst is. I will leave that to someone else who may know.

Hi Stephanie,
First of all 6mm means it is quite small,
Second: CSF density means it has the density of CSF which is the fluid surrounding your brain. And, a cyst is a pocket of fluid. Also your report says that it is an incidental finding which means, it doesn't mean too too much. So I think, this is a minor finding. Take care, Carole
