anxiety has specific nutrient depletion effects with definite psychological consequences.. don't let any docs get away with not reading the nutrient abstracts i've sent you, because i can practically guarantee they don't know much if anything about it. i'm going by my own experience with lots of different doctors.

i'm not up on drugs really, i know in many cases they replace something your body *should* be making on its own, and would be if it had the right ingredients to do so. i imagine in your case that there's a job being done by clonazepam that masks the effect of suboptimal function in your own body, and while the clonazepam can address that single issue somewhat, the missing nutrient/s would address not just that one issue, but all kinds of other things in the body too.

certain drugs can deplete nutrients or other beneficial stuff, for example antibiotics kill good as well as bad bacteria. sometimes i read about how drugs indirectly improve nutrient status, by some means i don't understand, for instance i know the interferon drugs for ms have been shown to improve vitamin e status (or something like that, i'd have to go back and double check). i'd rather just eat my vitamin e in foods and a nice whole food natural ratio E8complex supplement.

but that's just me. from where i sit, people don't get deficient in drugs, they get deficient in nutrients. take two groups of average people, say one group can have no drugs, the other group can have no food, see who dies first

the neurologist can perform a neuro exam which will show up hidden signs of MS such as impairment in smooth pursuit in the eyes or inability to feel a vibrating tuner or Babinski reflex after scraping the bottom of your foot. if the neurologist suspects MS, they can order an MRI to look for white matter lesions.

I would say stop worrying if you can and let the neurologist figure this out if he can! All the best and I hope it turns out to be nothing.
