So Frustrated...and Introduction

I will spare you a long post :) but here is my abbreviated story:

I started having ms like symptoms last spring. I ignored them, because that is just what I do.
I was referred to a neuro who told me he had a low suspicion of MS and ran an MRI-
The MRI revealed lesions in the periventricular region (two)

I had a negative LP.

I will see my neuro tomorrow to discuss.

Based on your collective experience, do you think I might get diagnosed, or will I be in limbo due to the negative LP?
My neuro does not think my lesions are age related, hypertension, or anything like that.

welcome, and a question: did they do brain and spine MRI, or just brain?

they'll probably need to do spinal mri, and there's things like visual evoked potential and nerve conduction tests to do.
afaik the negative LP means you do not have chronic inflammatory markers. that's excellent.
what kinds of symptoms have you been dealing with?

Hope things went well. With me, by the time the doctor finished going over all it could be, I felt like I had won something when the spinal tap and MRI caused them to rule it was MS.
