Does anybody know how we could find out what the 3 antibiotics are in this cocktail? Or did I miss that somewhere.

Is this for real?

Just looked at his site Www.davidwheldon.co.uk, where he details the regimen and the cocktail...

There is a whole forum on this site called "Antibiotics". All your questions would be answered there.

It has been real for some, but not all.

Australian TV shows a MS patient receiving common generic drugs for a bacterial infection that may be the cause of MS.
http://www.abc.net.au/catalyst/stories/3572695.htm. The treatment information appears to have originally come from a report that was released four years ago from Vanderbilt School of Medicine, http://www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm/fuseact ... pageid/741. This report has been ignored by the medical community in favor of expensive drugs.

Thanks very much for all of your help folks. I guess I have some reading to do now. This antibiotic `angle`as I like to call it for potemtially curing MS is an interesting idea but not new.

I found this antibiotic cocktail on the patients like me site This patient entered antibiotic protocol combines doxycycline 200 mg. taken daily, azithromycin 250 mg taken on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Flagyl 500 mg. taken every three weeks everyday three times a day for five days. The combination is taken for at least one year.

Geez that is a lot of drugs to be taken for a year. I have to wonder what the side effects can be with that cocktail of antibiotics for such a long period of time.

“Is this for real?” 8O

Yes, of course it is for real: I started the treatment back in 2003 and finished it in 2008. I only took antibiotics full-time for the first year, though.
I have been posting here since 2004, both in the Antibiotics section and here. In 2003 my neurologist had me lined up for a nursing home within months, but as you can see from the Catalyst programme, I am still alive and kicking and even pursuing my career again.
There are already links to the Catalyst programme in the Antibiotic section and a bit further down here. If anyone would like to see further information, the best thing would be to search through all my old posts.

My husband is a consultant level medical microbiologist who found the work that was going on at Vanderbilt University and adapted the treatment for UK use. Although I had only ever taken antibiotics twice before for very short periods, I followed this regime, somewhat wariy at first but soon with great enthusiasm as I started to see great improvements.

This is a better link for his very real treatment: http://www.davidwheldon.co.uk/ms-treatment.html This gives a more accurate version of the treatment which has no side effects if taken properly. Leastways, I have never experienced any.

Any Australians here might like to contact Paul Thibault, the phlebologist from Newcastle who will already be known to some on the ccsvi forum. He contacted both my husband and Vanderbilt because he was worried that too many people undergoing ccsvi treatment eventually experienced vein narrowing again. He is, of course, on the same Catalyst programme.

Yes, Miles, it is worth a read, being packed full of citations, not just hyperbole.

Are you in Australia? Paul Thibault is now seeing MS people and just prescribing antibiotics without the ccsvi aid if he feeels that would be better.

I want to believe that this is the simple amazing cure for ms, but I think that CCSVI is balls, so I'm finding it hard to believe that this could be true...
