The problem lies deep inside us!!!

Hello to all,

for an year and a half i am living with the diagnosis of MS. Have had good and bad days, now more bad and still not that bad. I do not know if MS is autoimmune, but as i read and read i think is not. Some folks have benefit antibiotics, some venoplasty, some other treatments. I think my MS is triggered by the stomach, liver, etc. For example: i was feeling good and one start to feel i was gonna vomit and then the diarrhea came - only once a day. It was very unusual, but this feeling in the stomach did not go away. So my symptoms got worse. Every time symptoms are coming i am starting to have some mouth soreness and my thong is becoming sore too.

In February i went on a iris diagnosis. The doctor was very clear and he told me - you've had a food poisoning and now your blood is dirty. When the dirty blood enters the brain it deposits bad stuff on the surface. He gave me some herbs for detoxifying and purifying the blood and after a month i was feeling a lot better, my face cleared. But i stopped them to early. This doctor has a success on treating people with ms and after the success he is recording them and is placing the videos on his website. Just to mention that he is treating a lot of diseases, not only ms. To bad the videos are in bulgarian language and you will not understand them.

One more thing, in 2007 when my first symptoms appeared(but did not know i have ms) my liver was enlarged a lot. This also has something to do with my MS.

Have a nice day

I agree. I think a fatty liver is very much involved in MS. See the following thread:

Hello Danirs, thanks for your post- your experience is quite similar to what happened to me during my first relapse (9 months ago)- A lot of gastrointestinal episodes during one month (Sep. '11)- then H. Pylori diagnosed in my stomach (Oct. '11), then numbness in my right hand, with MS diagnosis two months after.

Could you share with us the type of herbs you were prescribed by your doctor?

zinc nutrition is key for GI health. fyi:

Zinc supplementation tightens “Leaky Gut” in Crohn's disease

Low concentrations of zinc in gastric mucosa are associated with increased severity of Helicobacter pylori-induced inflammation.

also, if you run a google search for

polaprezinc helicobacter

you get a bunch of study results too. ('polaprezinc' is zinc l-carnosine)

Thank you all for the replies. Royboy i do not know what type of herbs. It's all mixed and the guy is not telling his recepies.

Even now i am having pain in stomach, need for vomiting without the vomit and worsening of the symptoms.

Also the doctor is prescribing a mixture of herbs that you are making as flour for bread. And you sleep with this over the night. I am telling you that the doctor is for real. I am sure of it. But the patients have to be patient. And the herbs are not so expensive. Maybe 30 euros per month(40 dollars)

Jimmy, i can see that you are of the people most active in this forum. Please share what do you think is the problem with us, msérs. I also have some hints, but am not sure yet. Do you have any improvement on the supplementation????

I don't think that diets are the best solution. The body needs all kinds of foods. Something else is not right

PS: In Germany, there was a meeting and discussion of MS latest news. Most of the neurologists are saying that the treatment with interfeorns and other junk similar to them is not good after 5 years of taking them.

hi there, well at this stage in my thinking process, i think it's a combination of genetics and environment. and i'm not just talking about ms but any chronic illness.

more specifically, i think of disease as a combination of genetic predisposition and environment (environment being the nutrient/toxin/stress conditions experienced by a human being from its earliest conception, with the nutrient status of the parents influencing initial genetic composition, and the body of the mother providing a more or less nuturing landscape/ecosystem within which the fetus develops).

resulting humans are delivered from that ecosystem with more or less structural and functional capacity for health, and are born with a smaller or larger stockpile of the raw materials for keeping that system functional.
in some cases the initial 'account' might be great, at least sufficient to protect an individual from his or her inherited genetic frailties, and the patient might life life such that stocks are not depleted, and stay healthy longer.
in other cases stocks may be initially poor, and through life the individual might have to deal with structural or cognitive birth defects, experience more illness, be at higher risk for genetic expression leading to disease, and might have to work within limitations to build up the raw materials for maintaining a system in the best possible way.
in yet other scenarios, a patient might start out with poor status, then experience an emotionally, physically or nutritionally toxic environment early in life, or make poor lifestyle choices later on, and end up sickest of all. just thinking out loud :)

i agree with you that diets are not necessarily the best solution, especially diets without science. anyway i'm sidetracked from some important business day errands right now, so will be back later :)

If I had known about Dr. Zamboni’s CCSVI theory that Multiple Sclerosis is essentially a vascular disease, I wouldn’t need a cane to walk today. I had all the tools for self help at my disposal, all I needed was the IDEA.
Well, now I have the idea. It comes a bit late for me, but I hope my suggestions can help others control if not outright heal the disease.

It’s Chinese Acupuncture theory which opened the door to this insight. Amazingly, Acupuncturists seem unaware
of the possibilities their treatments can bestow, being limited (they and everyone else) by the idea that MS is an auto-immune disease. Let’s be clear. The auto-immune response is secondary to the true cause of MS, a blood
reflux which injures the brain and spinal cord.

"In November 2009 Dr. Paolo Zamboni and colleagues reported that all patients with multiple sclerosis (MS)
had abnormalities in veins in their neck or back that could be diagnosed using ultrasound." From Appendix 1 Lay Summary October 2011 of the CMAJ (Canadian Medical Association Journal.)

So let’s assume that the shortest distance between point A and point B is a straight line. Stress tenses up the neck and back. Veins draining the brain and spinal cord pass through the neck and back. Tensed muscles compress these veins thus impeding free flow of blood from the brain and spinal cord. Let’s consider treating the tension which knots up the muscles and deforms the veins. The Gall Bladder Meridian begins at the outer corner of the eye, runs over the side of the head, down the neck, down the upper shoulder under the arm, down the side of the body and legs to finish at the outer corner of the 4thtoe. The Bladder meridian begins at the inner corner of the eye, passes
over the head, down the back in 2 vessels parallel the spinal column, over the buttocks and down the back of the legs to end at the edge of the little toe. Since these are the main protective meridians which begin on the head and pass down the neck, over the shoulder or down the back they become the primary candidates for treating neck, shoulder and back stress which apparently “deform” the veins draining the Central Nervous System. End of story.

I get an acupuncture treatment once a month for maintenance. Tension builds up over the month until I feel like a clenched fist is knotting up my insides. The treatment opens up the fist like a flowering. I know the same relief when I swim. Now I realize that in both cases the blood flow has been freed. (In Chinese medical theory the bladder/kidney meridians belong to the water element which rules body fluids in general. Their treatment may aid the free flow of cerebrospinal fluid through the brain and central nervous system as well which chiropractric treatment also seeks to enhance.)

Lest my insistence on this point makes me obnoxious, it IS the blood flow and the OXYGEN. Yesterday I was recovering from a minor cold. (I use the homeopathic remedy by Boiron, Oscillococcinum, to prevent or minimize a viral illness. The setback had been attenuated, but I was still feeling tense and dragged out.) After swimming I felt SO
much better, total relief. It’s the release of blood flow, the oxygen. Every time I experience that relief I can’t emphasize enough how important it is. I also can’t believe it. I’ve heard of oxygen therapy. If swimming is impossible
–Acupuncture is a good replacement – oxygen therapy might work.)
That being said, acupuncture didn't heal me. I needed to detoxify, begin optimal nutrition and supplements and continue energy therapies such as acupuncture, osteopathy, kinesiology etc.

Any illness as well as food intolerances and toxins will tense up the neck back and shoulders leading to vascular distress.
Treatment: Any therapy which enhances blood (fluid?) circulation (Angioplasty if the veins are really blocked)
De-toxify to remove stress
Optimal nutrition and supplements

having suffered stomach problems myself and also a perforated duodenal ulcer (caused by the helicobacter pylori virus) - I would like to suggest that anyone with stomach problems take them very seriously ....... and make sure your doctor takes you seriously ... if not change doctors. 8O

danirs, sorry i didn't touch on your one question - yes i have experienced major improvements through supplementation. i was zinc deficient the first time i had myself tested, at 8.6 umol/L. the normal range in literature is 11.5-18.5. i try to keep my levels up near 18-19 umol/L now. made a huge difference to my digestive tract.

aside: adequate magnesium status precludes excess muscular tension - researchers have even used it to treat tetanus.

and, OUCH, dahlia!
